Hi, I’m Miranda Sass

I am an LMHC who values a collaborative, individualized approach to therapy. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, supportive space where you can explore challenges, reconnect with your authentic self, and find both healing and hope in everyday life.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, and major life transitions.I am especially passionate about working with young adults and members of the LGBTQ+ community, creating a safe and collaborative space where you can explore your identity, build self-acceptance, and feel free to be your authentic self.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time outdoors and connecting with spaces that inspire curiosity and creativity—like walking along the Esplanade, kayaking with Paddle Boston, visiting the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, or browsing at The Brookline Booksmith. I’m especially drawn to books and conversations that challenge diet culture, explore trauma, and support nervous system regulation. I often recommend Anti-Diet, “You Just Need to Lose Weight” And 19 Other Myths About Fat People, and The Trauma of Burnout, as well as the podcast Maintenance Phase.
