Hi, I’m Hallie Blake
I bring compassion, empathy, and deep respect to my work as a therapist, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore, heal, and grow.
I am especially attuned to the needs of young adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and identity-related challenges. My therapeutic style is warm, adaptable, and client-centered. I meet clients where they are, honoring their pace and tailoring each session to their individual needs.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy exploring the city and connecting with stories that foster insight and self-understanding. I love walking around downtown Boston and Newbury Street, visiting Fenway Park, and going on ghost tours. I often recommend books such as No Bad Parts, Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents, Codependent No More, and Running on Empty, as well as the podcast Hidden Brain, which reflects my curiosity about the human mind and behavior.
My Approach
My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore the parts of their inner world that need attention and care. I approach therapy collaboratively, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their journey.
I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and EMDR, along with other evidence-informed practices, to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and significant life transitions. I specialize in working with young adults and adolescents as they navigate emotional overwhelm, identity development, and relational challenges.
